Here is how you copy, replace or update geometry from one feature (point, polygon, line)

Lets say you have a proposed fence line. You initially drew it. Now you walked it with the app and its gpsed and you have a correct line. You want the old fence line with all its associated data to be replaced with the new one.

Easy!

All features have a geospatial geometry attribute. Just copy the new one and replace the old one. See a polygon example below.

Here is my list of features.

I want to update Old Polygon with the New Polygon

I open up New Polygon

Copy The Geospatial Geometry

Open up the Old Polygon

Paste Into the Geospatial Geometry Field

All data associated with Old Polygon is still there but now the boundary is updated with new polygon
