How to create the random soil sample locations using the random sample locations from plots

Creating Random Samples

  1. Go to the random sample generator survey

  2. Click the big green button to add a random sample generator

  3. The form will open

  4. Select the plots you want to create the random samples within - you can select more than one

  5. Click Save

  6. Wait a minute or so and then check the map for the producer plots or the list of sample site locations and - It takes a minute or 2 or 3 to create the random samples - click refresh if they do not show up right away

  7. The samples will be labeled as random

  8. If you need to create new samples redo the process it only creates new samples when a new random sample survey is created

Removing Random Samples

  1. Go to the sample site locations survey

  2. Click - search so you can filter out the records you want

  3. Filter and or search for your criterial so the desired records are displayed

  4. Click the top select to select all of the filtered records or select the records you want to delete

  5. Click the delete button

  6. Confirm your deletion - make sure you are sure you are deleting the right stuff

  7. It takes a bit of time to delete your records
