Example: You have a large staff that all work for a specific team within the company, fence crew, vegetation crew, and greenhouse. You want staff members to be able to see all survey entires, but you only want the crews to be able to edit the surveys that pertain to the work they do.

Use group permissions to grant access to staff members based on their teams/user group they're assigned to in NRDS.

In order to add group permissions to templates, you must add users to User Groups, click for tutorial on how to add users to groups

STEPS

1) Click Templates, then click Edit for the template you want to add group permissions to

2) In template edit mode, select the User Group Permissions tab then click the checkbox

3) Click Add Permission to specify access by group

4) Select a group then choose what that can and can't do to the template and survey by using the checkboxes and dropdown menus
