STEPS
Live Tracking Buffer
1) Click menu, then click Settings
2) Scroll to Track Buffer, turn on Show buffer while tracking. You also have the option to turn on Show speed range indicator.
3) Set buffer - the buffer is applied to each side of the track, so a 20 ft buffer is 40 ft wide
4) Set speed - if enabled the color of the buffer will change when you are above, below, or between the set range
4) Return to Map and start a track to see your buffer in action
Example of a live 20 ft. buffer w/ speed set to 5-15mph:
note this is a virtual buffer to the line it does not save as a polygon
Buffer Line When Tracking Complete
1) Click line so that details pop up then turn on buffer
This is just a visual representation so it can be changed on the fly
2) To change buffer settings click Data in the details pop up
3) Scroll to Buffer, adjust settings, then click Save
