How to use the mobile feature filters for points, lines, and polygons to show and hide things on the map

In order for filters to work, you must have added types to your map features. If you are unsure how to do that, check out our tutorial on how to set up feature symbology.

1.) To find the filters menu tap the flashlight icon

2.) The first filter you will see allows you to see features retrospectively. For example, if you select the 1W filter, you will be shown only points that were made within a week back from today. If you decide you want every point shown, select All.

3a.) The next filters are the toggle switches for Active and Deactivated Points.

3b.) The Active and Deactivated Points filter is dictated by the status given to the feature when creating it as seen below.

4.) This final filter shows or hides features based on their Type which as mentioned above is set when initially in the form when creating the feature.
