How to Navigate to a Specific Point in the NRDS Mobile App v2
1. Open the location tools 0:00
In the NRDS mobile app v2, go to the Location button.
This is where you can access the tools for navigating to a specific point.
2. Long-press to access the Go To option 0:09
If you want to navigate to a point from provided coordinates, long-press on the Go to my current area option.
This opens the coordinate entry/setup screen.
3. Get your current coordinates as a starting point 0:24
Tap the small button to pull your current coordinates.
This shows the coordinate format currently in use, which you can use as a reference before editing.
4. Edit the coordinates and go to the new location 0:24
Modify the coordinate values as needed.
Tap Go to navigate the app to that new location.
5. Change the coordinate system if needed 0:45
You can switch the coordinate system used for navigation.
For example, change the format to UTM if that is the coordinate type you need.
After switching, your location display will update to that system.
6. Use the new coordinate format to navigate 0:58
Get your coordinates in the selected system.
Adjust them if necessary.
Tap Go to to move to the specified point.
