  • This video shows how to use custom maps in the mobile app.

  • Custom maps are created in the web app first.

  • On the web app, you define:

    • which layers appear on the map

    • the background

    • the map extent

    • the symbology for each layer

2. Open the mobile app and view your available layers 0:24

  • In the mobile app, open the filter button on the right.

  • This shows all the layers currently available on your map.

  • You can use this area to see what is turned on and what is available to change.

3. Apply a custom map from the Map menu 0:40

  • Tap the Map button in the mobile app.

  • Select a custom map you created in the web app.

  • The mobile app will update to match the web version of that map.

  • It will:

    • hide layers that are not part of the custom map

    • turn on layers that are included in the custom map

4. Review the map after the custom map is applied 0:57

  • After selecting a custom map, the map display updates to show the chosen configuration.

  • You should see the expected:

    • background

    • features

    • enabled layers

  • This gives you the same look and layer setup you configured on the web app.

5. Adjust layers manually if needed 1:18

  • Even after applying a custom map, you can still make manual changes.

  • You can turn specific layers on or off.

  • You can continue adjusting the map to fit what you want to see.

6. Switch to another custom map or return to default 1:27

  • If you choose a different custom map, the layer setup changes again.

  • The map updates to reflect that new custom configuration.

  • You can also clear the custom map selection to go back to the default view.

  • Note: clearing may keep the current layer state from the custom map until you manually change it.

7. Why use custom maps 1:50

  • Custom maps help you clean up the map and reduce clutter.

  • They let you show only the layers and information you want.

  • This makes the mobile app easier to use and focused on the right content.
