NRDS Document Gallery Upload, Filter, Export

1. Open the Document Gallery 0:00

  • In the NRDS web app, look at the sidebar.

  • Click Document Gallery to open the gallery view.

  • This page shows all documents that have been loaded into the app.

2. Download a Document 0:13

  • Browse the list of available documents.

  • Click a document to download it.

  • This is the quickest way to retrieve a file from the gallery.

3. Filter the Document List 0:22

  • Use the available filters to narrow down the document list.

  • Filter by size.

  • Filter by template (for example, the sign-up template).

  • Filter by tags to find documents with matching labels.

4. Search for a Document by Name 0:32

  • Use the search field to find a document by the name it was loaded with.

  • Type part of the document name to narrow the results.

  • This is useful when you know the document name but do not want to scan the full list.

5. Jump to the Document’s Location in the Template 0:46

  • Next to a document, click the I icon.

  • The app will navigate you to that document’s location in the template details view.

  • Use this when you want to see where the document is associated in the template.

6. Select Multiple Documents and Export Them 1:04

  • Click Select to enable multi-select mode.

  • Choose the documents you want to export.

  • Click Export to download the selected documents together.

  • When exporting, you can choose whether to use:

    • the display name, or

    • the system name used on the server.

7. Upload Documents into the Gallery 1:29

  • Use the upload option to add documents directly into the document gallery.

  • Uploaded documents can be imported even if they are not yet related to a survey.

  • After upload, the document can be selected and used in a different survey later.
