  • Open the map you want to view or print.

  • Decide how you want the map oriented (for example, with the top facing east).

  • Use the rotation angle box to enter the desired map rotation.

2. Fine-tune the rotation with the increment buttons 0:22

  • If you do not want to type an exact angle, use the small buttons next to the rotation field.

  • These buttons let you adjust the map rotation in small increments.

  • Continue adjusting until the map is oriented the way you want.

3. Save the map rotation settings 0:35

  • After setting the rotation, save the map.

  • Saving preserves the rotation so the map opens with the same orientation next time.

  • This ensures your preferred view is retained for future use.

4. Print the map using the saved rotation 1:04

  • Open the print option after the map has loaded with the saved rotation.

  • In print preview, the map should appear in the same rotated orientation.

  • When you print, the output will match the saved map rotation.

5. Confirm the north arrow rotates with the map 1:29

  • In print preview, the north arrow updates to match the map’s orientation.

  • As you change the rotation, the north arrow rotates accordingly.

  • This confirms that both the map and printed output stay aligned with the selected rotation.
